"Grasp"
i have already a lifetime of memories
twenty-six doesnt
seem like much until you're
forgetting and reliving
everything at once
how can there be more
to add to the swirling
that lives inside my head
or worse inside my wake carefree and
unencumbered with a rhythm
that rocked so many others
i have come-to
know there is much i can take
but this is an ask
too gluttonous and too great to fulfill
soul stumbles
over the me that is and the me that did
not have to come to pass
and the me that continued to dream while
steadily and certainly playing wait
at the hollow of our grave
i do not promise that this moment
is my only want
but submit the sum of my existence
hold me, hold yourself as my judge
